Location and boundaries

The location of Raipur Union is on the western edge of Anwara Upazila, near the Bay of Bengal. The distance of this union from the upazila headquarters is about 12 km. In the north of this union, Barshat Union and Battali Union; Formerly Barshat Union, Battali Union, Juidandi Union, Sangu Nadi and Khankhanabad Union of Banskhali Upazila; The Sangu River and Khankhanabad Union of Banshkhali Upazila are situated on the south and the Bay of Bengal on the west.

Union Parishad No. 3 under Raipur Union Anwara Upazila. The administrative activities of this union are under the jurisdiction of Anwara police station. It is part of Chittagong-13 Constituency No. 290 of Jatiya Sangsad
